28 Boko Haram terrorists killed by Army in Yobe

The Troops of Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO, a new operation recently launched by the Army said it has killed 28 Boko Haram terrorists in an encounter at Gujba village in Gujba Local Government area of Yobe State.

In a statement just released by Acting Director Defence Media Operations Brigadier General Benard Onyeuko, said the newly launched Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO is already yielding results with the latest operation which was generally adjudged as successful.

The statement also disclosed that a cache of arms and ammunition belonging to the terrorists were recovered.

The statement reads in part: “Troops of the newly launched Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO a subsidiary Operation of Operation LAFIYA DOLE in the North East continue to obliterate elements of Boko Haram/Islamic State’s West Africa Province criminals with uncommon ferocity.
